In an age of acceleration, nothing can be more exhilarating than going slow
This is so well articulated, Manan!! Loved the read.
Thanks Vedika:)
Really enjoyed this piece. I often feel I’m rushing about from place to place without that leisurely meander that helps so much with thinking and rest. Slow productivity.
Loved it
Thank you, Claire! Glad it resonated. It’s very much an active ongoing attempt and effort for me but one that I repeatedly find worth it:)
Loved this piece!! This is truly a struggle to keep up with the world but at your own pace. How did you consciously slow down? What are some tip?
Thanks! :) still working on it but I’d say —
1. Cherish the in between / transition moments during the day instead of pulling out email / podcasts etc
2. One day of the week make an active effort to resist the urge to rush — whether it’s walking, getting ready, eating, commuting whatever it is.
3. Dont overdo the schedule, leave some breathing room between events
